Backer Update for 6/20/17!

Hello Hardlight Backers!
It’s been an exciting few weeks since our last update, so let's dive in!
First, we’re closing in on even more awesome game partners. We can’t name names just yet, but we promise, you’re going to be psyched to be able to play their games with your Hardlight Suit!
The manufacturing process is coming along wonderfully and we’re about to receive our first sample of the final, mass-production version of the suit! We’re really excited to get our hands on what the experienced fabrication and manufacturing partners we’re collaborating with have put together.
As we get closer to the crowdfunding portion of the Hardlight Suit’s life being over, we want to mention that we’ll be switching over to our own dedicated eCommerce platform on August 14th.
What does this mean for you?
If you’re a Kickstarter backer, you’ve already been charged, so this doesn’t apply to you.
If you’re a BackerKit backer, or if you’ve added onto your Kickstarter pledge via BackerKit PLEASE read this section!
We will be locking down BackerKit pledges on August 14th, meaning you will be charged on that day.
We’re mentioning this now and will continue to mention it in future updates, because we don’t want anyone to be surprised by the charge or to have their payment/pledge error out.
If you’d prefer that we lock down your pledge and collect your payment prior to August 14th, please email [email protected] and we can work out alternate arrangements.
Most of you have completed your backer surveys, so we have your current billing and shipping information, but if you haven’t done so yet, PLEASE complete your survey. Not doing so will seriously hinder our ability to get you your suit on time, which is the last thing we want!

Hardlight Suit Backer Update - 5/18/17!

Hi everyone!
We wanted to drop by and give y'all a quick update on how things are going.
We're updating some small features in the suit's design to prepare it for manufacturing, so we took the opportunity to tune up some of the wearability and adjustability features, making it even more comfortable and usable.
We've gotten responses from the majority of our backers so far, but in case you've yet to head over to our BackerKit site to finalize your order, please do! As we've said before, not only does BackerKit allow you to add things like the wireless module to your order, it confirms all of your payment and shipping information to minimize any digital hiccups when it comes time to ship.
We've got a few new games to announce very soon, so we hope you're following us on Facebook and Twitter to keep up with the latest. We're so excited to have even more awesome titles be Hardlight ready!

BackerKit surveys are coming!

Hello Hardlight Backers!
We'll be sending an email with a special link to BackerKit surveys shortly. It is important to respond to your survey as quickly as you can since we need this information for fulfilling your rewards.
You do not need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey, just click on the survey link, fill it out, and you’re all good to go! You will be able to answer questions about your rewards preferences, provide shipping information, and pledge for more “add-ons” if you'd like. You do not have access to this survey link yet, but it will be available soon via email!
IMPORTANT NOTE: This is how you add on your wireless module!
If you decide later that you want to edit your survey response, you can go back to your survey and change it any time before we lock down the surveys for processing.
If you need to review your information or pledge status, you will be able to recover your survey here: hardlightvr.backerkit.com.
If you use your Facebook login for your Kickstarter account, the BackerKit survey will be sent to the email you used for your Facebook account. If you have another email address that you would prefer to use, please contact support at hardlightvr.backerkit.com/faq and we'll get you sorted out!

Thank you for making our project a reality! A few things need to happen before we can kick off production and fulfillment.
As we already posted, we've set up a BackerKit store to help with the back end of the campaign (fulfillment, shipping, etc.)
To gather all of that information, we'll be sending out a BackerKit survey.
We will give you a heads-up before we send the survey so that you can watch for it. You will not need to create a BackerKit account to answer your survey. The invitation email will contain a link to your personal survey. It is important to submit your responses as quickly as you can since we need this information to process your rewards.
If you need to change your survey responses, add or remove add-ons, or update your shipping information, you can click on the link in your survey email again or request your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page. (This page will only start working after we send the surveys out.)
If you prefer, you can just message me and give me your information, but answering your survey will help us get your rewards out to you quicker. BackerKit helps us save lots of time by streamlining the survey process, automating data organization, and providing us with pledge management software to make it easy to process your pledge reward shipments.
If you used Facebook to log into your Kickstarter account, the BackerKit survey link will be sent to the email you used for your Facebook account. If you have another email address that you'd prefer to use, please message me.
VERY IMPORTANT NOTE FOR GAME BUNDLE AND T-SHIRT BACKERS: If you paid extra to add a game bundle and/or a t-shirt, you'll need to add it to your order using BackerKit!

First off, we’d like to extend our most heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you! Watching the pledges pour in over the last month has been unbelievably exciting, and we really can’t thank you enough for joining us in this endeavor.
We’re hard at work coordinating orders with our manufacturers and continuing to make sure that when your Hardlight Suit hits your doorstep in September, it’ll be bringing you the best experience possible. We have a number of really exciting game partnerships that are still to be announced, and we can’t wait for you all to see what we’ve been working on.
We’re also in the process of getting our BackerKit site up and running, so you can add cool things to your pledges like the wireless module.
